my holiday finally has come to the end.
induction day was pretty good
met everyone and also quite a lot of new faces
we were told that we'd be given 15% less lectures and 25% less assessments this year
know y?
coz thats what last year 2nd year students complaint about
last year, our lectures used to be from 9am till 12 noon
but thanks to those students who always skip or come late to lectures
this year they switch all the lectures to the afternoon, 1-3pm

last week it was freezing like hell

uni's starting at 28th september
can't wait to start studying

the most exciting part is meeting up with friends!

life's been the same
nth changed except my wardrobe
i've shopped for more winter clothing
and i got myself a pair of patent boots on bank holiday
sooooo VICTORIA BECKHAM-ish
can't wait to put them on... ;)
moved my summer clothes to the bottom part of my wardrobe
think i need a bigger one....

Fast food giant McDonald's has lost an eight-year trademark battle against a Malaysian curry restaurant after a court allowed the latter to use the prefix 'Mc'.

McDonald's had failed to properly frame its questions when applying to challenge the Appeals Court's earlier verdict, Chief Judge of Malaya Ariffin Zakaria said. McCurry, which is short for "Malaysian Chicken Curry", serves Malaysian staples including fish head curry, according to the company website.McDonald's, which has 185 outlets in Malaysia, first sued the curry restaurant in 2001 and a High Court ruled in favour of the international fast food chain in 2006.
McCurry then took the matter up to the Court of Appeal, which backed the Malaysian restaurant. McDonald's subsequently took the matter to the Federal Court.

dementia

i think dementia has setting into me
seriously
i keep forgetting stuff
important stuff i mean

the most recent case is like what happened today

i took out every single type of Allevyn from Sigma and Phoenix
but none of them is the one she wanted
she did ask me and i told her there were 2 came in from Phoenix
i knew the stuff came in yesterday but today she asked me bout it i totally forgot bout it

the patient needs the dressing today

keeping my fingers crossed
hopefully the one we ordered will come in tomorrow first thing in the morning

and the worst of all
tomorrow BJ is not coming in to work
the new registered pharmacist will replace him
tomorrow is the fourth day she's working as a registered-pharmacist

and so the only person who has the dispensing experience would be sasha
the only one

keeping my fingers crossed again
hopefully the pharmacy won't be too busy tomorrow

anyway, weekend is just way too short for me
i was hoping that i'd be able to skip lectures and stay in pg
but, how long can i stay?

now that im 13-hour-flight away from home
its no longer like last time
i can go home whenever i want
even if i have to wait
i only had to wait for a week or so
unlike now
at least a month...

am considering to go back
since katie is getting married in next year's april
and grandparents want to attend her wedding at birmingham
maybe i can go back and bring them here... :D

talking bout yesterday

i just been on a road trip outside London

first we went to Lexus centre in Sidcup

then to this strawberry farm

which sells really sweet cherries, strawberries, apricots and loads of fruits

in the end

we ended up in Ashford's designer outlet

wasn't in the shopping mood though

so basically it was like a sightseeing trip for me

all these places are so much different than London



without realising

another week has gone

its August now and

im going back to uni next month

just re-enrolled myself for 2nd year the other night

*sigh*

im no longer first year student

i need to know more stuff now

when i made mistakes at work

no more excuses for me

my boss would tell me

'U SHOULD know this by now.'


they expect me to know moreeeee!

is it because i haven't learn all these things

im back with my blogging mood,

nth much to blog bout my summer holiday really,

its not like summer anymore for me

the weather is not hard to predict

one second its sunny out there

and the next second there'd be rain and shower

argh!

although it doesn't matter for me

as i stay indoors most of the time

well, went to watch ice-age 3 3D with sabrina the other day before she went back to hk

as the movie is no longer the latest one anymore

so there were only 15 ppl in the cinema

most of them are dad with kids

and some japanese students

we were so embarassed when we asked the dad sitting few rows in front of us to take a pic of us

we went to this italian restaurent at Leicester square had our lunch

besides working on weekdays,

sunday we usually go to auntie kim's house

to visit jay and BEN!

this baby is growing bigger and bigger every week we see him

freaking cute la him!

and we had our lunch in the garden behind our house when the weather is good!

today mum called me

told me that jia li's school closed for 1 week due to this swine flu cases

the funny thing is

the teacher reminded them to bring masks to sch

and the next day the whole class was wearing masks

except this forgetful fellow

and he didn't even phone my mum to tell her

until at night he told her that the school is closing and

he forgot to bring his mask to school

this fellow don't even know what's swine flu

and keep laughing of the term 猪流感

silly boy!....

oh no... i miss them so much rite now!!!
